Truncating Dos Files Under VPIX

Was just playing with Turbo Pascal Under VP/ix 1.1. Notice that the truncate
procedure of Turbo Pascal 4.00 would truncate a typed file on a pseudo disk;
however, the procedure would not truncate a typed file in the unix file
system.

Just wondering whether those who use VP/ix had noticed similiar or related
problems, particulary with respect to various languages file handling routines.
