Altos XENIX 86

I just inherited a CDC 114 Computer, which is really an Altos ACS-8600 CPU
(Intel 8086 processor) with a 20MB hard drive and a 8" floppy. It has two
connectors labelled "Multibus 1" and "Multibus 2", so I cleverly deduced
from this fact that it is a Multibus system. It certainly bears no resemblance
to an IBM clone.

It runs an old version of Altos XENIX 86.

Unfortunately, the C compiler was never installed on it, nor UUCP and friends.
I have the original CDC/Altos Xenix Runtime Disks (3 8" disks), but if the
compiler and uucp disks ever existed, they have been lost.

I would be thankful for any hints as to where and how to obtain at least the
C compiler and libraries, and if possible UUCP etc. as well, for as little
money as possible.

Please reply by mail, as I don't think there will be great interest in this
group.

Thanks!

Wolf Paul
