Get the afio program from the comp.sources.unix archives.  Among many
features with which it renders cpio obsolete, is this one:
	-s size     Specify volume size.  When this many bytes are
		    written, the output volume is closed and the
		    user is prompted to insert a new volume.
Afio: don't backup without it!
