do scanners work under VP/ix?

Has anybody out there tried to run any scanners either directly under SCO 
Xenix or under VP/ix?

Just wondering, before we buy any particular model, if anybody has been 
successful with such an endeavor.

Having been bitten by the special hardware of the Wyse 700 which won't run in 
its high res mode under VP/ix for Ventura like it does for DOS, I wonder if 
anybody can offer any advice or recommendations.
