Configuration SCO 386 2.2, Toshiba 5200/100 with toshiba modem.
No hardware manual (yet).
Can someone help please? I've had *such fun* trying to get my
third port active.
If I set up so that all 3 are live (Port A = int4, Modem = int3 (Com2
in effect) and Port B = int5) with a standard kernel Xenix thinks
I have a 4-port Sperry/Mitsubishi Com3 card.
Great I thought --- sniff around in sioconf.c, and put in the parameters
for my 2nd serial Port (I want that modem to be a live tty2A) and away we
go! Well so much for theory. 1 recompiled sioconf.c in the library,
edit "master" to give int 5 to the sio handler, as well as the printer,
(losing int 27 in the process, but I don't have that board) and re-make
c.c is now handling vector5 as one would expect, so I am hopeful.
Re-boot with the new kernel. Hmmm. Sperry board has 1 port,
Sperry board has 4 ports. Ah well --- probably just spotting the normal
boards? anyway It thinks I've a single port board at COM3 so
it's looking good.
Enable tty3a. Seems I've a very looseline at serial 7, so much so that
I can't do anything else. FSCK time again.
Anyone actually done this?
