Can anyone confirm whether or not job control really works in 3.2.
The SCO ads continue to proclaim it but a message in comp.unix.i386
indicates that it won't work until forthcoming 3.2.2. I am trying to get
it to work with bash 1.04. I've figured out the equivalents for wait3
sigblock and sigsetmask (I think) but not for killpg (any guesses).
I've managed, once, to put a task in the background and bring it back but
the end result of running anything but internal
commands is for the shell to hang. Ps shows the task as defunct and
the shell no longer connected to a tty. There are some other problems
with 1.04 but before I sink hours of time in solving the job control
problem I would like to know if I can succeed.
