I have a Maynard (cassette) Tape Backup 60 (External) Unit here, which
uses "Maynstream" Data Cassette 600 tapes. It is Model 105B11R, for
60meg tapes, and the company is Maynard Electronic, of Casselberry, Florida.
I am very happy with this Tape Backup Unit, as it backs-up all the -newer
files since my latest total backup every morning at 0320 while I am resting,
then mails me a msg of the last part of the 'readback of the tape' which has
been made.
I would like to communicate with some of the other users of the tape unit, or
using the internal version. Please send me a note.
Please NOTE: that I've had it about a year. I am running a CompuAdd 386/16,
and Xenix, and it may also be used to backup my DOS partition.
DISCLAIMER: I do not have any association with Maynard Electronics, other
than have purchased this unit from a local distributor. (period)
Thanks...cliff
