sco sci, laserjet, etc

Just out of curiousity, how many people use SCO CGI in the development
of their everyday applications?  I don't see much discussion on it and
I know it has saved me TONS OF HOURS of re-development time for
screen/printer/laserjet graphs etc.   

I have a question in regards to users of SCO CGI as well.  I have several
programs (one that is especially detailed is the biggest culprit) that
allow me to print a wonderful graph on the ega screen, epson80 printer, and
on the laserjet.  However, on the laserjet I get one problem.  It appears
to be lost data as the report commonly gets a strange character on the
left side of the page and will mis-place the dots on a row of the graph.  
Upon the beginning of the next line things appear to go well again.  It seems
that perhaps a character or two is being lost every few pages.  The problem
is re-producible and but will move about the page when graphing different
data.  Some pages/graphs come out fine, others messed.  The epson printer
and ega screen both look fine here.

My guess would be it's a serial link problem -- perhaps with my drivers.?
It ALWAYS occurs in the same spot on the same graph, which would leave me
to believe its either cgi or a buffer getting full that will always get
full at the same position.  

I guess I could just use a pointer or two as to where to look next.  Next
alternative is to move the laser printer over to a parallel port and see
if the problem is eliminated.  If this does it, what do I do to fix the
problem (if anything??)

On a related note:  I have a Digiboard 16i that I'm trying to connect
a serial printer to.  I've had this printer connected to an Arnet (on another
machine) for quite some time.   So far I've had much success with the Digiboard
as far as I/O goes.   However for some reason the printer doesn't appear to want
to flush it's buffers when finished with a report.  Basically, when I ask to 
print a printout that's 2304 characters long (just over a page) I get the first
page of output from the laser, and can kick the 2nd page out if I tell the
printer to eject page.  However I will be missing the last line or two.  I
figure this is probably the remains of a buffer that isn't flushed.  Any
ideas/quick fixes???
