Need information on the UUCP 'g' link level protocol.

Need information on the 'g' link level protocol for UUCP.

A friend of mine is trying to install UUCP and USENET
connections on a Perkin-Elmer 3200 running the Berkeley
UNIX System 7 (I think).  They need information about
the protocols before they can complete the software
