80186 C Compiler

Does anyone know of a good C compiler for the 80186 (or even 8086) that
runs under 4.2BSD (on Suns or VAX).  Of course we need the assembler and
linker that go with the compiler.  Our current version from MIT has no
optimizer or linker, so we are struggling, and would like something with
fewer bugs and optimization.  Mail replies directly to 'lazear at mitre'.
