Not quite, they're called BITNET, NETNORTH, and EARN. (Some people
wanted to call the Canadian network "GWNET" (Great White NET), but the
humourless bureaucratic types prevented it.)
They *really* *are* one network, but there is a common illusion that
the political boundaries between parts of the network are important.
