Here at the S-1 Project, LLNL, we use both Chaosnet and TCP/IP
on the same Ethernet.  Our 4.2BSD VAXes act as gateways.  I
had very few problems bringing it up from the distribution tape;
although I can see how it would be more difficult on a non-source
and/or non-VAX system.

If you are not already committed to Chaosnet, however, I would
second the suggestion that you convert your Symbolics machine
to TCP/IP.
