Differences between versions of UNIX

There have been System ? vs. 4.?BSD comparisons presented at some
USENIX conferences in recent history.  Two by John Quarterman and
John Chambers come to mind.  I believe you can still get a copy of
the latest paper via anonymous FTP; contact jsq at ut-sally.ARPA for
information.

Also, I have offered to collect information on this topic and post
a summary of the results, but no one has sent any contributions yet.
