Editor source wanted

Dear reader,

I trying to find sources for an editor which can take away
the bad taste in my mouth using VI :-).
Screen oriented, cursor-keys use, insert/overwrite-mode, not
too many features (Who'll use them anayway ?).....
The editor should work on Unix...
