Wanted: 'cron' sources, for V.2+ type multiple crontabs

I am looking for a 'cron' replacement for a 3B1, which implements the
newer form of multiple crontab files.  I remember seeing something post
on the net recently, but I haven't been able to find it.  The one person
who remembers it says it was strictly BSD, and that probably wouldn't be
very hackable.  If anybody knows of PD source, I'd appreciate a reply.
