Help! "undump" for unix-pc?

	Hi. I am trying to make a format-preloaded "tex" on the UNIX-PC . 
I compiled the "undump" source code which comes with tex distribution but
the program always stops at comparing the data si at es of core file and a.out
file. After some experimenting with the different core files I created, I
was greatly confused. It looks like the core files do not follow the 
format described in the manual page. Any one has any ideas? Or if you have
a working undump program, I will just take it and use it. Thanks.
