Clock speed on 3b1's

This seems like a silly question, and probably has been asked before, but
is there anyway to kick up the existing 10mghz clock speed on the 3b1's?
The whole discussion recently about HD upgrades has been fascinating
(having just shucked out my life savings to get a 67meg Micropolis in the
interest of performance :-)....
The idea comes up in the wake of a programming project falling into my
hands. I may have to have as many as 3 people compiling 'C' programs on
this beast at the same time, and even WITH the fast drive, it'll be hell.
Is there any performance mod I can make to get this thing out of the mips
gutter its in?
Quasi-related question: I've heard tell dBase III was once/still is
available for said Unix PC. Is it still around? Is it III+? Does anyone
have a version they might be willing to part with?
