Advice needed on 3b1/7300 purchase

I have come upon an offer for a 3b1/7300 with the following configs

1 meg RAM , 10 meg diskdrive (for $649)
1 meg RAM , 20 meg diskdrive (for $899)

Also has 1200 baud internal modem and Sysv 3.51

Being a neophyte to these machines and their ilk I would truly
appreciate any advice as to the availability of pd software, problems
with hardware, any info  at all....
