Hi Netland,
Well here I go! I need some help from thos out there knowledgeable.
Since this is critical I thought I'd ask the net before plunging in and
ruining my disk drive!
I have encountered a bad block on a 3B1 and I would like to map it out.
My docs mention a program called update(1) but I don't have it. So
as I read the docs I should be able to do the following steps
1. iv -d /dev/rfp000 > foo
2. Add the new baad block to the file foo.
3. iv -u /dev/rfp000 foo
Is this the correct procedure or have I missed a man page somewhere?
Any help will be most appreciated.
