3.51 library question

I finally loaded up 3.51 on my PC after a long bout with 3.5.
Unfortunatly, some programs would not compile because saveterm and
resetterm could not be found.  Are these functions excluded from
libcurses on 3.51?  Are there any other library differences that may
come up ?
