I guess I unintensionally created a mystery. C++ is pronounced ``C plus plus''.
I forgot to put that in the book, but it is actually there if you look carefully.
Addison Wesley put it on the library of congress ``information card'' on the
back of the title page.
The Orwell book is good as a puzzle and as a warning to overzealous language
designers, but not as a guide to real life pronounciation.
