Larn help needed

I have a problem with larn on a S5.2.2 system.  I have installed all
of the published fixes for S5, and I still lock up the terminal upon
encountering the first monster.  I have installed the software on a
4.1 BSD system and it works fine, so I know the source wasn't hosed
up at all.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
