Problems porting XView to SGI

I wonder wether someone on the net has already tried to port Sun's XView 2.0
to IRIX 3.3. I tried this and in the end I got the textedit, props and clock 
clients running.

There are still some problems (e.g. pseudo terminals for shelltool, and some
strange events in textedit).

My Question: Has someone successfully ported XView (especially textedit) to 
             IRIX 3.3 with bugs and anomalies ?

I'd greatly appreciate if I could exchange experiences with someone or if 
somebody had already fixes for this.
