4 Meg simms for 4d/25

When I talk to Alex at Impediment, he says that only Toshiba 4 MB simms
work in the 4D/25 and that all others are unreliable or do not work.
He also says that he does not know why, but has been show by experience
that this is true many times.

Clearpoint on the other hand knows nothing of this and says they will
all work.  Clearpoint's simms (Samsung) cost less than the Toshibas and
are easier for me to purchase.

Does anyone know what the straight story is on this?

If so, please let me know.
