Seeking IDEAS -> IRIS .rgb image conversion

Has anyone seen/heard of/built a mechanism to convert between
the IDEAS "pictures file" and the Silicon Graphics ".rgb" type?

Email preferred, if not available, post follow-ups to comp.sys.sgi.
