Gview

Hi,
    I am a grad student working on a Image processing project. To be specific
, I am involved in volume rendering of volumes (anatomical) built from CT
images. Most of the work till now has been done on a sparc workstation, and
recently we moved onto a sgi workstation. We have seen some of the stuff on 
gview and are very much interested in its working. I have some questions
regarding this, as our future research would be involving walkthroughs in
anatomical sections.

1). Is there any specific file format for the GFO files? If so, Please let me
    know about the format.

2). Are there any conversion programs to convert geometries to GFO fileformats?


I need as much information as possible on this gview stuff.
