Sun man page macros for use with troff --> pscat --> lpr

I CANNOT get the Sun supplied man-page macros to work quite right.  The
typeset image dribbles down a tiny amount every page (i.e after five or so
pages the typeset image is half on one page and half on another).  Does
anyone have a fix for this problem ?

   Inquiring minds want to know.
