Sun common lisp on Sun 3/50's with 8meg RAM?

Has anyone had experience running Sun common lisp on Sun 3/50's using the
Clearpoint extra memory to bring them up to 8meg?  We have heard rumors of
crashes.  Can anyone confirm or deny this?
