How to config a standalone 3/60?

Well, my last query resulted in such an overwhelming response, I should
first say thanks to one and all who responded (I had requested info on
setting up a third-party SCSI on a Sun 3/60).
I have a few new questions.
1. The disk I'm getting is a 360 Meg drive. I'm wondering how I should
partition it. I plan to install X11R4 (core, with some selected contrib
clients), Emacs 18.55 (or 18.56, if it becomes available), perl, and maybe
a bit of other GNU stuff that would likely reside in /usr/local. My first
guess for partitions is:
(swap) : about 30 Meg
/ : about 10 Meg
/usr : about 100 Meg
/home : Whatever's left
The machine is color, with 8 Meg Ram, which I will probably add to
shortly. Is 30 Meg for swap enough? I know I can use swapon(8) to use
some space on /home, but if the system has to use it, then obviously I
haven't left enough for swapping.
Also, is the 100 Meg for /usr enough? Or is it overkill?
2. I will have the on-line manual pages installed. Is there any part of
the printed docs that aren't in the on-line ones? I'm thinking of the
System Admin section, in particular. Any other pertinent docs I should
have?
3. The machine will be running as standalone. Someone told me I will have
to have some kind of "Ethernet Terminator" if I want to run X11 without
being connected to a network. Is this true? If so, can you give me any
details?
