Is anybody out there aware of any MIDI products (or freeware!) available
for Suns or other Unix boxes? I need a machine at home that can run MIDI
sequencing software like Performer or Vision, but I'd much rather have a
Sun than a Mac.
I've heard from a friend that a recent SUG show had some kind of
multi-media demo, possibly put on by Sun, that used some sort of MIDI
software. Can anybody give me any details on this, or a pointer to any
vendor who might have such a thing either available or in the works?
Thanks!

For all of the rumors I've heard regarding Sun's interest in multi-media
stuff, they sure screwed the pooch with their dinky SS1 8-bit audio
interface. I hear better sounds on my telephone line. If NeXT can supply
16-bit audio, why can't Sun?)
