OpenWindows 2.0 Problems!

We recently got OpenWindows 2.0 distribution tapes for Sun-3 and Sparkys
and are running them on our machines. Everything so far looks fine except
for the following problems:
1. OW takes a looooong time to start up. Usually, when I type openwin, it
takes about 1.5-2 minutes to come up with it's desktop. Has someone seen
this problem and found the reason behind it? Is there a solution?
2. We use tn3270 software to connect to an IBM 3090 machine on our campus.
Under plain SunView (and sunview with OpenLook deskset), the key-mapping
under a tn3270 session was controlled by a file called /etc/map3270 and we
had customized it to work as uniformly as possible with both Type-3 and Type
4 keyboards. Under OW, however, this file is NOT referred to at all and
hence we don't have any of the functionality for a tn3270 session now as
we had before under Sunview. That is, the function keys on the top of the
keyboard don't respond at all, etc. Does someone run into this problem and
fixed it?
Please email your repsonse to me directly.
Thanks,
Sandeep Varma.
