plp package on sun

We need multiple printers on a logical queue.  The plp package supports
such things, but we can't get it talking to the standard sun (ucb) lpd Has
anyone got this package running in a mixed Berkley <-> PLP environment or
has anyone a mail address of the implementers of the plp package.
