Help: Vax --> Sun Keyboard Mapping

Does anyone out there know of a way to map the VT-100 edit keypad
functions to a Sun IPC running OpenWindows?  We are trying to create a LAN
comprised of a Vax-Cluster, 3 Sun IPC's and a Solbourne all running under
X.  If would help immeasurably if we could use the Vax editor on the Suns.
