One of the most exciting aspects of the Unix operating system is the
way the Unix community encourages free exchange of information. The
USENET network, is one of the principle means for spreading
information about Unix, Unix computers, computing and life in general.
Sequent Computer Systems is dedicated to the open communications,
standards and information exchange which the Unix Community and USENET
represent.
In order to further this type of information exchange Sequent Dallas
would like to invite any registered Usenix participant to use our
office system to read the news and/or receive your mail while you
attend UniForum and the USENIX Tutorials.
The system in our office will be available from 9:00 to 1:00 daily
February 8-12. We will also be serving continental breakfast and our
office is right next to the Grand Kempinski. So walk on over have a
bite to eat, read the news and try out our computer. If you would
like to forward your E-mail to our system Jodean Weaver will establish
a login for you. Her E-mail address is uunet!dalsqnt!jodean. Jodean
will need the following information:
Login Id: (Please send at least one alternative)
Password: (Make it at least 6 charcaters long)
Full Name:
Telephone: (Optional)
Our access to USENET is through UUNET so any mail should be addressed
uunet!dalsqnt!username. During UniForum this will be the only E-mail
path to dalsqnt. Our address is:
