	Silly season strikes again?  But there are many near-solutions:

		command | grep -v ''	# or adjust flags as necessary
		command | tail -0	# or use sed or awk or ...
		command | tr -cds ''
		command | [ ]
		command |		# if at end of script

each of which is deficient in ways I'll leave others to find and correct.
