dump tape

i have the second tape in a series of 2 dump tapes (4.3bsd), but do not have
the first. how can i get at the files on this tape? restore won't get any files
for you, it says "this is not first tape in set" and barfs. does anyone know
the format that dump uses? any suggestions ???
