Unless you're a wizard specifically asking for other wizards' opinions,
send your question to comp.unix.questions. That's what it's for. In
the unlikely event you do not get an answer within a week or so, then
and only then try unix.wizards. Generally it won't be necessary to
escalate the question; there are still a fair number of wizards
reading comp.unix.questions.
