FAX board with 6386

Simultask with DDA on an AT&T 6386 WGS requires
an IO control address AND a control memory
address for devices such as scanner, mouse, etc.
Quadram's JTFAX 9600 fax board lists about 7 valid
shared memory addresses (CC00, CC80, CD00, etc) 
but no mention of IO control adresses.  This board
is known to work directly under UNIX with
commercially available software, but can it be
made to work under Simultask?  DOS loads properly
but complains of an ioctl error.  DOS works, but 
not JTFAX.  Is there hope?
