The title says it: are there public domain versions of cut and
paste (sys V utilities) that I could install on my BSD system?
Or is the functionality elsewhere in BSD?
Incidentally, my terminal responds quickly to ^S/^Q, but not to
^C (or DEL; i.e. the interrupt). Is there a way to speed up this
latter recognition?
Help appreciated, particularly if it's mailed to my account
(phd_ivo at gsbacd.uchicago.edu) as well. :-)
