Unix box

I suppose this isn't a new phenomenon.
I just received a unix box used from a business that had installed
a customised database system. Naturally, several items are missing
from the unix system, the most debilitating of which is the major
parts of the C compiler.
All I really know about it is that the operating system that's on
there now is a derivitave of a unix put out by "Momentum"
So I wonder if anyone knows about this company, or where I can get
a new system tape (with all the utilities) for this box.
The thing has two serial ports, a hard disk of unknown size, a
cartrige tape drive, and a terminal that seems to act like a TVI
925. It also has a printer with a centronics and a DB-25 on it, and
another box which I know absolutely nothing about (it has three
RS-232 ports; one labeled port 1, the second port 2, and the third
modem. When you plug a term into either tty port it says "Local Data"
or somesuch, then "WHAT TYPE TERMINAL?" then seems to freeze up)
The trouble is that none of these items have labels identifying their
brand names; instead they're labels refer to the business that
owned the special software that used to reside therein.
Thanks in advance if anyone has any pointers.
P.s. I'm not a unix "Guru," but I'm reasonably familiar with
Unix. I've just never run one. I'd also like to add vnews and mail
to the thing and tie in to the local college. Advice most welcome.
