Anyone out there have a version of a program to allow the
reading of damaged cpio archives (mainly on tape). I think
I remember something about a program - afio - that allowed
you to skip bad headers, and sync on the first good header it
finds. Anyone got afio, or an equivalent - I dont want to
reinvent the wheel. I don't have anon ftp. With proper info,
I could uucp it, or just have it mailed to me piece by peice.
Thanks in advance.
BTW: I'm emailing Rich Salz to see if he happens to have this
archived from sources.unix. I've posted also since he is a busy
person, and may not be able respond as quickly as someone who
does not administer an archive.
