Motorola S-Records -> COFF

My mom has a problem:

  She has a cross compiler that produces S-Records instead of executables.

  She has a UNIX target system that expects executables to be in COFF format.

The cross-compiler is from Oasys.
The compiler vender says, "In two weeks we *might* have an assembler/loader
that outputs COFF files."  This is not helping.
The target machine is a ModComp machine running a real time varient of UNIX
called Realix.
Does anyone have a utility to change S-Records into COFF format?
Even the source to a program that does S-Records to any binary format would
be helpful.
Or maybe specs on the S-Record format and COFF format.
