cpio question

There is a public domain program "afio" that I think might be available
under "MESS-DOS"; also a PD-TAR program (tar seems more popular with
MS-DOSites than cpio, cpio seems much better to me and most *NIX persons
I know).  I'm guessing you have binaries to transfer, since there are
lots of easy ways to transfer text files between UNIX and DOS.

You can find these programs in places like the UNIXFORUM on the Compuserve
Information System, BIX, UseNet Source Archives, and many public access
UNIX systems.  Also, the C Users Group sells some DOS-UNIX stuff like this.

If you get stuck and can't locate 'em send me email and I'll try to rustle
something up for you.
