help!how to setup remote printing services

I have a question....

I am trying to setup remote print services between a Prime 7000 (mips)
and an IBM RS/6000. I am fairly new to networking and although I do
find reference about remote printing services, I cannot find any real
detail of how to set them up. 

my configuration is:

     RS/6000 - operating as Domain name server and has the printer attached
               to it that I want to use. It is networked to the mips box
               using slip and runs fairly (considering that the mips has NO
    	       flow control, VERY) well. running aix 3003.

     Mips box - uses ibm as name server and has ibm defined in the hosts.eqiv
                file. the documentation does mention setting remote print 
                services but only for using bsd print services. 
                running mips os 4.51.

any help will be greatly appreciated.
