Hi,
just thought I'd let everyone know that there is a new ftp site for
UNIX 386 binaries. All the software was compiled on a 386 running ESIX
5.3.2 release D mostly using gcc.
Current stuff available includes:
gcc, g++ (COFF/stab only), gdb (both COFF/stab and native), libg++
TeX, dvivga (only tested on ESIX, feedback from people with other UNICES
would be welcomed), fonts for dvivga, patch, sc (6.8), etc.
The host machine is suphys.physics.su.oz.au (129.78.129.1), a SUN 4/490
with 2Gb of disk. Please remember that we are in AUSTRALIA (GMT+10,
California-6 - forget about the date line (really +18) and East Coast-10,
(same caveat)) so try to ftp outside our working hours or grab it the stuff
from a closer site.
That Internet name again: suphys.physics.su.oz.au.
Any problems mail either:
glenn at qed.physics.su.oz.au
OR
dawes at suphys.physics.su.oz.au
Enjoy,
Glenn
