Two ethernet cards on 386/ix

I remember somebody once asked the same question: How do you put
two 3Com etherlink cards on the same 386 box running ISC? I didnt see
any summaries... and I'd appreciate your inputs so I can configure a 
router around here...

Another question: how do you get rid of the ps failed - no write permission
for /etc/ps_data, contact your system administrator message? It was not
happening before I installed nfs...
