Read Ahead Cache on a CDC WREN IV

I have seen all this traffic and much ado about SCSICNTL.EXE.
I have seen lot of people swear/swoon when they turn on the
read ahead buffer on the CDC WREN IV SCSI Drives using SCSICNTL.EXE.

I happen to have one of these drives but unfortunately I
do not have an ADAPTEC SCSI Host Adapter.  I have a WD7000 FASST2
SCSI HOST ADAPTER.

Does anyone have a program similar to SCSICNTL.EXE for THE WD7000
that would allow me to turn on the cache in the drive.
Or for that matter any program that can turn on the cache
would do.
