Loading msWindow's APPLICATIONS under VP/ix (386ix)

I am impressed, I must say.

Despite your herculean efforts, you will probably not be able to run
Windows 3.0 in standard or enhanced mode under VP/ix.  VP/ix creates a
"V86" mode DOS box for you where you do NOT have access to protected
mode.  All you have is a virtual 8086 processor running in an apparent
meg of memory, with a few OS hooks available if you're a very smart
program.  Windows apps that can't run under WIN /R can't run under
VP/ix.
