unibus only 780?

Last year DEC sold a unibus only vax 11/780 which would form an 
excellent base for a system filled with alien peripherals. It was
about $140,000 with dual rk07's and no tape drive.
	This year there appear to be  no system packages without tape
drives and with "throw away cheap disks". 
	To make 4bsd capability for ~32 users plus expansion
capability am I now constrained to start with multiple 750's?
Are there other convenient 780 sources than DEC?
