TROFF conversion problems

Y'all've been so helpfull before that I hope you can help
me out again.  I am trying to convert the -me macros to run
under System III nroff/troff and am not succeeding very
well.  Has anyone else done this already?  Does anyone have
a comprehensive list of the difference between version 7
(4.1bsd) troff and System III troff?
